A sunny afternoon

I want to go back, to those feelings I used to get after-school, walking through campus in the sun and feeling...calm. It may be unattainable; I was so young then, so stressed, so distraught, but those strange in-between hours where all I could feel was the sun and the almost haunting breeze between the concrete buildings, the hum of the air-conditioner, the silence born of distant sound. I want that. I'll get it back.
